This week was History Week and S3 studied Dinosaurs!
On Monday, we learnt about the different types of dinosaurs and experienced an archaeological dig for dinosaur bones and started making dinosaur eggs and feet using papier-mâché.
On Tuesday, we continued with our creative dinosaur projects, including making a pterodactyl to hang from the ceiling! We also had Storysharers, and we made props and plans for our personal stories.
On Wednesday, we finished our dinosaur eggs and feet- they are so green! We also started decorating a long piece of cardboard to create a jungle effect for our classroom!
On Thursday, we had a great Zumba session and we read some exciting books on Dinosaurs in the afternoon. Today- Friday- we made an amazing Dinosaur display (with creative flair and inspiration from the amazing Eloise and Yvette!) and then we went around the school to visit everyone’s classrooms!!!! It was awesome!
We are looking forward to a nice break this half term, before rehearsals start for “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” next term!
See you in term two!
