We are a happy class of 5 children. Rosie is our teacher and we have four teaching assistants, Viv, Jemma, John and Penny, who support us in achieving our individual goals in everything we do.
Our days are very busy and we participate in a wide range of activities including literacy, numeracy, science, topic work, cookery and art. We will also go swimming and will have riding lessons later in the year. We enjoy PE and Hydrotherapy sessions and our weekly Forest School session with Bex.
Our topic for this term is ‘The Weather’ which will be the basis across all areas of the curriculum. We will be sharing some familiar stories such as ‘The Wind Blew’ by Pat Hutchins and ‘The Little Raindrop’ by Joanna Small, and using all our senses to experience some fun activities. We will also be exploring magnets in Science. Throughout the term we will look at festivals and celebrations including Chinese New Year, Holi and Easter.
