A fun percussion workshop and a huge army vehicle visits school!

We had a brilliant ‘Kids Day In’ which started with a fabulous junk percussion session. We explored the variety of everyday objects on offer and we were shown how to make different sounds. We worked together to copy a steady beat and then we made a crazy rhythm which some friends danced to! We loved making lots of noise and we’re going to continue practising our drumming skills in the classroom. Another exciting thing this week was a huge army vehicle visiting school. We wore safety helmets to climb into the cab and look at all the controls and switches. It was very high up! There was a big crane on the back and we couldn’t believe the size of the wheels!
