Fun with the light panels and Gruffalo crumble!

This week in Woodpeckers we’ve enjoyed using the sensory light panels. Each of us had our own torch and when we held them near the panels they made amazing patterns. It was great fun but we soon ran out of batteries! We’ve continued looking at The Gruffalo and made our Gruffalo crumble. We took turns to weigh out and stir the ingredients and some of us helped to chop the fruit. The children were excited to take some crumble home to enjoy with their families. On Friday we had a trip out to Wilton RDA on the school minibus. Some of us will be riding there after half term and it was a good opportunity for us to see where we will be going. We saw horses in the field and although we stayed on the bus, some of us tried on a riding hat!
